Technical Editor

The Role:

The Technical Editor, Stakeholder Information Management, is an enthusiastic professional who is a detail-oriented critical thinker capable of working with a significant degree of autonomy.

As part of the Communica Stakeholder Information Management™ (SIM) team, you will work collaboratively account leads to review regulatory filings on all communications between project proponents (primarily energy, resource development and infrastructure projects) and impacted parties (Indigenous groups, land owners, municipalities, etc.).

Location: While Communica’s office is located in downtown Calgary, remote options will be considered for any candidates residing in Canada.

For those in Calgary, this job has minimal in-office requirements with remote/ in-office working being primarily at the discretion of the successful candidate.

Primary Function

  • Review source material to edit communication summaries based on accuracy, grammar, clarity and project specific protocols.

Please note: This is a two month contract with the potential for further work at the end of the first term. Hours per week are expected to be approximately 20-40, depending on your availability.
