Emma Shea, Senior Advisor
Emma Shea joined Communica in 2007, most recently from Trident Exploration Corp. Her experience in public consultation and program planning spans several years in both the non-profit and corporate sectors. Emma's education at Acadia University in Business and her IAP2 Certification in Public Participation make for a solid understanding of business and consultation best practises for a wide range of sectors. A member of the Canadian Public Relations Society, and currently on the IAP2 BC Chapter Executive Committee, Emma's expertise in stakeholder engagement planning and community relations provides additional capacity and field support to Communica's clients.

Kelsey Borland graduated from Simon Fraser University with a major in Communications, focusing primarily on media relations. She brings a fresh perspective to our operations, working with clients to develop communications tools, public consultation planning and logistics and media relations monitoring.

Kevin Brown, APR, brings 27 years of media and public relations experience in BC and Northern Alberta to Communica as a Senior Associate. Kevin is President of Kevin Brown Communications (KBC) and is based in Prince George. In May 2010, Kevin agreed to become a 'Senior Associate' with Communica and make his knowledge and experiences working with communities throughout Northern BC and Northern Alberta available to Communica clients. Kevin specializes in community relations, crisis communications, issues management, strategic communications planning, facilitation and other communications and relationship development services. Kevin will be a frequent visitor to the Communica Vancouver office to meet with clients and pursue new opportunities.

Moss Giasson has 10 years of experience working in Industry, government and not-for-profit sectors. Through this experience, he has developed a comprehensive understanding of environmental management, project supervision, regulatory process and public engagement. Moss has worked extensively throughout British Columbia and Alberta becoming adept at developing innovative approaches to solving some of the largest project challenges. Moss’s hands-on experience and knowledge, coupled with his professional designation in the British Columbia Institute of Agrology, provides him with a strong base enabling him to work confidently and effectively on a range of client needs. Moss and his company, Montane Environmental Services, is based in Victoria, British Columbia.
